Bach’s B minor Mass has long been acknowledged as one of the greatest pieces of all time. Even in the 18th century it was referred to as his ‘great mass’. It is an enormous but exhilarating challenge for performers and audience alike and a unique experience for those longing for live performances. YBC and YBS see this as part of their standard repertoire and have treasured the opportunity to perform it – a must as part of all our Christmas celebrations.
