Helen joins Trevor Pinnock and the English Concert at Wigmore Hall to perform Bach’s John Passion. First performed at Good Friday Vespers in 1724 at the St Nicholas Church in Leipzig, the first of Bach’s two extant passion settings is one of the pinnacles of Baroque art, and a work much relished by audiences in the run-up to Easter.
